FPLXI vs Fantasy Football Fix

Fantasy Football Fix is the closest thing to FPLXI in spirit, an algorithm with tools built around it, and it is cheap per month. What differs is what happens to the algorithm's output, and who checks it.

No card required · Free team rating from your FPL ID · Prices and features checked August 2026

Fix built its product around the Fix Algorithm: projected points and stats, AI transfer recommendations, a future planner, a rotation planner, predicted line-ups, Opta heatmaps, ChatFPL, and an FPL Plus browser extension for live rank and effective ownership. When we checked, Premium was advertised at £2.57 a month and Premium Plus at £2.94 a month on annual billing, down from £6.95 and £7.95, with a £295 one-off lifetime option. On price per month it is hard to beat.

FPLXI is narrower and more opinionated. Our model predicts each player's points for the next five gameweeks. A deterministic optimiser then solves your best legal XI, captain, vice, bench order and the transfers that improve your squad most. AI does exactly one job here, which is explaining a recommendation in plain English once the numbers have decided it. One £19.99 payment covers the 2026/27 season, and every prediction is locked at the deadline and scored in public.

Fix gives you more surfaces to explore. We give you one ranked answer and a scoreboard you can hold us to.

Stay with Fantasy Football Fix if

  • Lowest monthly cost matters most, or the £295 lifetime option appeals.
  • You want a chat assistant and plenty of tools to poke at.
  • Live rank, effective ownership and in-play heatmaps are part of your gameweek.
  • Elite team reveals and deadline alerts are useful to you.

Pick FPLXI if

  • You want the model's record in public, not an accuracy claim in a headline.
  • You would rather have one ranked answer than fifteen tools and a chat box.
  • You want captain, vice, bench order and transfers solved as one problem.
  • A single payment with nothing to renew suits you better.

Moving across

No export needed. FPLXI builds your squad from your FPL ID or a screenshot in about a minute. If your Fix subscription still has time on it, the sensible split is FPLXI before the deadline and Fix's live tools during matches. We have no chat assistant and no live in-play layer, and neither is planned. If ChatFPL or FPL Plus is why you subscribe, that is a real gap on our side.

Questions people actually ask

Fantasy Football Fix is cheaper per month. Why pick FPLXI?

Price per month is not the only axis. FPLXI is one £19.99 payment for the season with nothing to renew, it solves your XI, captain, bench and transfers together instead of handing you tools, and it publishes prediction accuracy every gameweek so you can check the model rather than trust a claim.

Does FPLXI have an AI chat like ChatFPL?

No, deliberately. Chat assistants guess from text and will invent numbers. In FPLXI the model and the optimiser make every decision, and AI only writes the explanation afterwards.

Which algorithm is more accurate?

Both of us publish claims. Only one of us publishes a ledger. FPLXI locks each prediction at the deadline and scores it against real results on a public page, free to read whether you have paid or not. Judge us on that.

Can I keep both?

Yes, and it is a reasonable pairing: FPLXI for the pre-deadline decision, Fix for live rank, heatmaps and content.
