FPL predictions with a record you can inspect

Before analysing your team, the model managed its own. We gave it a £100m budget, real prices and the same transfer, captaincy and bench decisions you face across all 38 gameweeks. Every decision used only information available before that deadline — never hindsight.

FPLXI questions, answered

What do I need to get started?

A free account and either your FPL ID or a screenshot of your full 15-player squad from the FPL app or website.

Where do I find my FPL ID?

Log in to fantasy.premierleague.com and open your Points page. Your ID is the number in the address bar, right after /entry/.

Is this a subscription?

No. The Season Pass is a one-off £19.99 payment that lasts until the final gameweek of the season. There's no auto-renew and nothing to cancel.

Is £19.99 the final price?

£19.99 is the early bird price and it applies until the Gameweek 3 deadline. After that deadline the Season Pass price goes up. Whatever you pay covers the rest of the season, so buying early locks your price in — later increases never affect a pass you already own.

What do I get for free?

A full team rating, one recommendation refresh per gameweek, a suggested transfer with the reasoning spelled out, and a sandbox for planning future moves.

How do the predictions work?

A machine-learning model predicts each player's points over the next five gameweeks. A deterministic optimiser turns those predictions into your best XI, captain and transfers. AI writes the explanations — it never makes the decisions.

What does the model actually take into account?

Each player's underlying performance — expected goals, assists and involvements, not just raw returns — how many minutes they're genuinely likely to play, the strength of upcoming opponents and whether fixtures are home or away, their team's attacking and defensive quality, and market signals like price and ownership. Every prediction is per player, per gameweek, five gameweeks ahead, and recalculated daily as prices, injuries and form move.

So it just asks ChatGPT what to do?

No — and the difference matters. Chat assistants guess from whatever text they've read: they don't know this week's prices or injury news, can't reliably do the maths, and will confidently invent numbers. FPLXI's predictions come from our own model, trained on hundreds of thousands of real player-gameweek records and re-run against live data every day, and the transfer engine finds the best legal moves by exhaustive calculation, not vibes. AI is allowed to do exactly one job here: explain a recommendation in plain English after the numbers have already decided it. And unlike a chatbot, we publish our accuracy — every prediction is locked before the deadline and scored against real results on the model page.

Can I check the model's accuracy before paying?

Yes. The model page shows predicted versus actual points for every gameweek, in public, whether you've paid or not.

Can I plan changes to my team before committing?

Yes — planning is built in. Add a recommended move to your plan, or mark a transfer as made once you've done it in the official app, and FPLXI recalculates around your decisions: the pitch view shows your planned squad, and recommendations update to account for moves you've already made. Your plan and what actually happened are tracked separately, so you can always see both.

How fresh is the data?

Prices, availability and injury news refresh every half hour, fixtures every hour, and match results land shortly after games finish. Predictions are recalculated daily against all of that, and your gameweek recommendations are locked at the deadline — the same numbers we grade ourselves on. After each deadline, FPL-linked squads sync automatically, so the new gameweek starts from what you actually did.

Does FPLXI change my team for me?

No. FPLXI never touches your FPL account. You review the recommendations here and make the moves yourself in the official app.
